COMMERCIAL MANAGER – SMEET PRECAST
§ Manage daily operations of department and to focus on long-term interests of the business.
§ To assist the reporting authority while negotiating / finalizing commercial terms in liaison with Contracts Manager.
§ To ensure that the company rules and policies are implemented while receiving approvals / recommendations for necessary changes in scope of work like additional scope / de-scope etc and to make advantages for the company in such situations.
§ Over all control on project budget and preparation of Monthly Report
§ Resolve issues with contracts and commercial operations (in case if any such issues arise) and dispute resolution/settlement of contractual claims and counter claims.
§ Risk assessment and necessary recommendations based on a thorough analysis of all factors involved in a project/s.
§ Required co-ordination to be maintained with departments like Sales, Production, Projects, Design & QA/QC to confirm that the contractual obligations are met in order to avoid any issues with the Client / Consultants.
§ Verifying and checking all invoices prepared by the Quantity surveyors.
§ Maintain sustainable and productive commercial relationships with new and existing clients.
§ Co-ordination with finance and credit control departments to resolve issues (if any) with problematic Clients / Customers who were delaying due payments, retention etc.
§ To target submission of respective monthly Invoices precisely without any delay and necessary follow-ups till obtaining approval of payment application and completion certificate.
§ Readiness to clarify any queries raised by the Client / Consultant regarding payment applications, scope of work, additional works, de-scoping, etc.
§ To take a proactive approach to continuous improvement and innovation in all aspects of the job.
§ Discharge all duties efficiently and with utmost trust.
