The National Eligibility Test (NET) is a national level competitive exam conducted by the National Testing Agency on behalf of the University Grant Commission two times a year to determine the candidate’s eligibility for the post of “Assistant Professor only” or “JRF & Assistant Professor both” in Indian Universities and Colleges.
